I agreed to shoot this event months ago, but I thought it would be part of the Weezer and Panic! At The Disco summer tour. Photo approval for this festival was sort of last minute due to the confusion, but I was super excited once I saw the full line-up. The Sacramento heat was surprising, since it was well in to fall. I made the mistake of showing up in black long sleeve shirt and skinny jeans. Luckly, there were a few consignment tents around and I was able to pick up a cheap pair of shorts. Once I changed clothes, I spent most of my time running around snapping photos. The set times were short since there were so many artist on the bill. I got to snap photos of Phantogram, 888, Waters, and The Unlikely Candidates for the first time. It was cool to finally catch Phantogram since I missed the band's set time at this years OutsideLands. My favorite to photograph was Panic! At The Disco. I loved Brendon Urie's energy. He was moving around so much, it was hard to take a bad photo because there were tons of great moments to catch.
